Security Analyst Training Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Security Analyst Training, developed by DPLex Technologies LLC, handles information when you use the app and its optional account and Training Pro features.
Free Use and Accounts
The Foundation curriculum can be used without creating an account. An account is required for Training Pro purchase and restore functionality and for account-based services. Account registration may involve information such as your email address and authentication information.
Authentication
Security Analyst Training uses Clerk to provide account registration, authentication, verification, and account-management services. Information needed to create, secure, and maintain your account may be processed by Clerk as part of those services.
Training Progress and Local Data
Training progress, lesson completion, investigation attempts, learning activity, and user-created local backup data are stored locally on your device. Local Training data is separate from your online account and is not automatically deleted when an online account is deleted.
Training Pro and Purchases
Security Analyst Training uses RevenueCat to manage Training Pro subscription entitlement information. Android purchases are processed through Google Play. DPLex Technologies LLC does not directly receive or store your full payment-card information.
How Information Is Used
Information processed through account and subscription services may be used to:
- authenticate users and maintain account security;
- verify Training Pro access;
- restore eligible purchases;
- provide account-management and deletion functions;
- operate, maintain, and secure the service; and
- prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
Advertising
Security Analyst Training does not contain advertising. DPLex Technologies LLC does not use Training account information for third-party advertising.
Account Deletion
Signed-in users can permanently delete their Security Analyst Training account from the Account section of the app. Account deletion removes the associated server-side account and requests deletion of the corresponding RevenueCat customer record.
- Deleting a Security Analyst Training account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription.
- Subscriptions must be canceled separately through Google Play.
- Local Training progress and locally created backup files are not automatically removed by online account deletion.
If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing support@dplextechnologies.com.
Retention
Account-associated information is retained only as necessary to provide the service, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, comply with applicable legal obligations, and enforce applicable agreements. When an eligible account-deletion request is completed, associated account information is deleted except where limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory purposes.
Security
DPLex Technologies LLC and its service providers use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Service Providers
Security Analyst Training relies on service providers that may process information according to their roles, including:
- Clerk — identity, authentication, verification, and account management;
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management;
- Google Play — Android distribution and billing; and
- infrastructure providers used to operate account-related backend services.
Children
Security Analyst Training is intended for cybersecurity education and professional skill development and is not specifically directed to children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Security Analyst Training features, service providers, business practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when the policy is revised.
